Thunder Ranch Texas 2011 Schedule

In early 2011 Heidi and Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch, Oregon will be having a series of classes at the original site of Thunder Ranch in Mt. Home, Texas.

Original ranges will be used and class formats will be taught to the standard clients have come to expect over the last few decades to include the Tower for all tactical and elevated urban like training.

Students can acquire lodging in Kerrville, Texas and the drive to the range is a nominal forty-five minutes. Students should provide their food for the training day. Class size is limited to 12 people per class.

January	26-28 FULL	Defensive Handgun (1000 rounds)
	30-02/01 FULL	Urban Rifle (1000 rounds)
February	3-5 FULL	Defensive Handgun 2 (1000 rounds)
	7-9 FULL	Mid-Range Rifle (400 rounds)
	11-13 FULL	Mid-Range Rifle (400 rounds)
	15-17 FULL	DHG2 (1000 rounds)
	19-21 FULL	Urban Rifle (1000 rounds)
All Texas courses DO NOT require frangible ammunition.

*This Mid-Range class primary focus on 0-300 yards with targets out to 1000 yards included.

All course descriptions from the TR website are valid descriptions for these classes.
Lead free ammunition is NOT required at these ranges.

Flagler Ranch is located 96 miles west of San Antonio International Airport. Kerrville is 46 miles east of Flager Ranch and has motels, restaurants, and a small airport. You can also stay in Junction, which is 33 miles north of the ranch. All of these options are on paved interstate or state highways . . .all the way to our front door.

From San Antonio, Texas International Airport: Take IH 410 West to IH 10 West to exit 490 or Hwy. 281 North to 1604 West to IH 10 West to exit 490. Then take Hwy. 41 West 27 miles to Flagler Ranch. If you are driving on IH 10 heading east, take Exit 462 Hwy. 83 South for 29 miles to Hwy. 41, turn west, go 4 miles to Flagler Ranch.

There is also a Days Inn and a Best Western in Junction which is 35 miles north of us.

Due to ranch liability we only allow students who are attending the class on the ranges. There are various attractions for your guest to see who are not attending the class.
